As therapists, teachers and mothers, we are deeply familiar with the day to day juggle that comes with managing parenting, family, work and wellness.  Over the years, we have heId space for so many women who have shared their stories of not receiving the kind of support they needed when they were suffering.  Cherry Tree Counselling was created for, and is dedicated to these women. Since 2016, through a unique specialization in women’s wellness and maternal/perinatal mental health and a focus on community building, our intention has always been to expand the availability of resources and supports for our population.

Jessica is an experienced social worker that supports families and individuals during the pre and postnatal period. The can be a range of emotions that come up during this time and having someone you can trust and lean on can make a world of difference.

Jessica supports families with: infertility, perinatal mental health, infant loss, birth trauma, attachment and parenting issues as well as providing relationship and co-parenting support.

Mulberry Wellness

Pregnancy and the Postpartum period can bring on a range of emotions, as it is a time of tremendous change. These changes can include, shifts in body and hormones, changes in roles, identity, and relationships. This period can also be complicated by factors such as a high-risk pregnancy, traumatic birth, postpartum depression or anxiety, and infant loss.

A perinatal counsellor will work to navigate both expected and unexpected circumstances in this period, and provide compassionate support that moves a family toward healing.
